Resident of Livermore
A resident of Livermore since 1965, David worked at LLNL for 36 years in research, engineering and senior administration. He was an electrical engineering graduate of UC Berkeley and NYU. Fly fishing, HAM radio, gardening, woodworking and community service were his favorite interests and he was an active member of Cedar Grove Community Church and Livermore Rotary. David is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Petey, and survived by son, Terry (Denise) Pehrson, daughters Wendy Holt and Johanna (Ian) Campbell, four grandchildren and a sister, Connie Pehrson.
Special thanks to his caregivers and Dr. Michael Abdel-Malek for their outstanding care after his brain stem stroke in 2001.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25th, from 2-5pm at the Chapel of Graham-Hitch Mortuary, Pleasanton, CA, with a Celebration of Dave’s life at 3:30pm on Monday, March 26th at Valley Community Church, 4455 Del Valle Pkwy, Pleasanton, CA. David will be laid to rest with his wife at a private burial at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, Hayward.
