East Bay Amateur Radio Club (EBARC) General Class License Course

The East Bay Amateur Radio Club (EBARC) and West Contra Costa Adult Education (WCCAE) will offer a class to prepare applicants for the Amateur Radio General Class License Course, starting Sept. 12, 2017 and ending Dec. 12. The class will meet on Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Alvarado Adult School, 5625 Sutter St., Richmond, CA 94804. Textbook is The ARRL General Class License Manual, 7th Edition. Books will be available for purchase.

Class fee is $15 paid to WCCAE. FCC examinations and license applications will be administered at the final class session by the EBARC Volunteer Examiners. Exam fee will be $15.

Ham Radio Course Forming Now!

Mt. Diablo Amateur Radio Club and SATERN

are holding an 8 week course where you can

upgrade your Amateur Radio Technician License to

General License Classification

The General Class license is your gateway to all the world-wide Amateur bands of excitement and Emergency Communications on Ham Radio…and you do NOT need to learn Morse code!

This course is to upgrade your current

Technician License (the next Tech class starts August 17th )

You can also register for the August Tech class now.

Thursday March 23rd 2017

At 7-9 pm

First Class starts at 6:30

The General Class License Course is FREE but there is a $6 materials fee and Textbook if needed is about $28Each student must have full access to a copy of the ARRL text.

Follow up training & license testing for all 3 license levels will be available.
